Tour Overview
Morocco is the gateway to Saharan Africa, an exotic land with a unique mix of Arabic, French and Berber cultures. It is one of the safest countries on the continent, known for its hospitable people, cuisine, art and ever-changing landscapes. MotoRover has run eight Morocco road trips since 2019, with over 100 travellers.
This 11-day self-drive starts and ends in Casablanca and runs entirely on paved roads, about 1800 km through the Rif, Middle Atlas and High Atlas mountains, the Sahara and the coast. You drive an automatic Renault Duster or Toyota Prado, with a MotoRover tour manager and a local guide in the lead car and a support car with a mechanic closing the convoy. The group is limited to 20 people and every participant group gets its own car. All meals (veg or non-veg), airport transfers in Casablanca, boutique hotels, Kasbahs and a luxury tent camp in the Sahara are included. All you have to do is arrive and drive.

Once you sign up, MotoRover takes away all your worries. I have done my second driving adventure with this family to Russia during the winters, the first being the Summer Baltic Tour. The self-drive trip in Kyrgyzstan in June 2024 with MotoRover was an exquisite experience.
