Temperatures well below freezing point, spectacular snow-covered landscapes and 4x4 vehicles are key elements of this adventure and it is planned at an exotic destination — presenting the Kyrgyzstan Snow Drive 2026!
Silk Route was an ancient trading route that passed through Central Asia and the destination of our adventure is a little known nomadic country in this region named Kyrgyzstan. It is a land blessed with natural beauty and remains untouched by the evils of mainstream tourism. In the last eight years, over 400 travellers have enjoyed our road trips in Kyrgyzstan across all climatic seasons and the Snow Drive is our end-of-the-year special, as the country transforms into a winter wonderland during the cold months.
Our 4x4 fleet of tried and tested SUVs running on snow tyres will enable you to conquer the snowy terrain. The MotoRover team will lead the customer vehicles from a car in front, and a back-up car with our local team will follow the convoy to ensure everyone's safe and on course. There will be periodical guidance on snow driving, both before and during the journey, and a well-equipped mechanic will be on board to overcome the challenges en route.
Apart from the time spent in the car, the Kyrgyzstan Snow Drive 2026 also includes exciting winter activities and unique experiences you will cherish forever — a boat ride on Lake Issyk Kul, traditional horse games, Kyrgyz falconry and folksongs, and the 15th-century Tash Rabat caravanserai under snow. We have a limited number of spots on this expedition, so it's going to be a small group of intrepid travellers exploring an unknown land together. Once you sign up, MotoRover takes away all your worries. I have done my second driving adventure with this family to Russia during the winters, the first being the Summer Baltic Tour. The self-drive trip in Kyrgyzstan in June 2024 with MotoRover was an exquisite experience.
